Since 2006, Kjetil has led diverse projects across more than a dozen countries, immersing himself in vibrant cultures on three continents. With a solid educational foundation in fire safety engineering from Europe, Kjetil’s expertise has flourished through worldwide projects. His holistic approach and extensive knowledge of performance-based fire safety and risk engineering consistently yield innovative solutions.

Kjetil’s impressive portfolio spans residential, office, retail, super high-rise, rail, industrial, landmark heritage projects and more.

Active in the industry, Kjetil serves as a Member of the Building Appeals Board, Deputy Chair for the Society of Fire Safety (SFS) at Engineers Australia, and Immediate Past Chair for SFS Victoria/Tasmania/Overseas chapter. As a Chartered Fire Engineer and Fellow of Engineers Australia, Kjetil’s expertise is widely recognized and valued.

Driven by his Scandinavian roots and enriched by his international experience, Kjetil established STRATEG to offer timely, consistent, and unbiased advice to clients. Through his passion for delivering exceptional results, he ensures that fire safety measures are integrated seamlessly into every project.

When not shaping safer environments, Kjetil treasures quality time with his wife and two boys and finds solace in the depths of the ocean.
